Incase You Needed Another Reason to Get a Dog

Swedish researchers surveyed nearly 3.5 million Swedish residents with no history of heart disease over the past 12 years. Some of which were dog owners – some weren’t.

By keeping track of how many died over a period of the following 12 years and calculating different factors such as gender and sex, the scientists were able to calculate the risk of death. The results were fairly conclusive – dog-owners had 20 percent less chance of dying compared to those who didn’t own a dog.

Apple HomePod: 2017 Release Too Optimistic for Tech Giant

The speaker’s release was originally slated for a December 2017 release. Costing $349, the HomePod was set to take on higher-end sound systems like Sonos, as well as smart assistants like Google Home and Amazon Echo.

The cylindrical device comprised of a seven-speaker array of tweeters, a more than adequate 4-inch subwoofer and a six-microphone array. Specification-wise, the HomePod should be pretty-much on par with the frontrunners in its price range.
