Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper Perform “Shallow” Together Live for the First Time
January 28, 2019
During Gaga’s Enigma concert, she invited co-star Bradley Cooper to come on stage, ” Yo Bradley, you wanna come up and do this one?”. And being the true gentleman that is, he obliged and literally serenaded the pop diva with the first verse of Shallow. The result- thousand of screaming fans and very very emotional Gaga. But really it was the embrace that got us welling up.
TBH, even if they don’t bag any shiny golden statues, they’ve got a lifetime award from us for having the best real-and-reel-chemistry ever. Here’s her mini-tribute to her co-star and friend for life.

I didn’t get to say everything I wanted to say last night when we won, I was so overcome with emotion and of course wanted to share the mic with my co-writers. We are all so grateful Bradley loved “Shallow,” sang his heart out live, and truly the song would not be revered as it is without the brilliant film and moment Bradley created and the way he directed the moment and collaborated with us on how it would eventually be given to the world. Thank you B, and thank you Warner Bros. Thank you HFPA, we are beyond grateful. 📸 @gettyentertainment
In case you’re not in on the buzz, A Star Is Born received 8 nods for Oscars 2019, with the leading stars running for Best Actress and Best Actor. Other nominations include the coveted Best Picture award, Best Support Actor, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Cinematography and Best Sound Mixing. Here’s to hoping their run in the awards season domination gets stronger and stronger.
The movie’s unofficial anthem Shallow recently took home the Golden Globe for Best Original Song and has been topping charts for weeks now (including ours)! A hit like this doesn’t fizzle out fast, instead it stays close to our hearts and gets us all mushy.
This explosive sneak-peek performance has left us with crazy-anxiety levels for their much-anticipated Oscar performance. Are you excited or are you excited?
