Eid Al Fitr 2019 Dates in UAE

Eid al-Fitr marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan and is also known as the “Festival of Breaking the Fast”.
Eid al-Fitr is celebrated on the eve of the last day of Ramadan which is dependent on the sighting of the new moon, following which, the first day of Shawwal is announced. The holy month can ben for 29 or 30 days- again, dependent on the moon sighting.
Since Ramadan 2019 started on May 6 we can expect Eid al-Fitr to be on Wednesday, June 5 or Thursday, June 6. This will be followed by a 3 day holiday which could mean a five-day weekend!
