Eid Al Adha Could Be On These Dates

When we’re just about recovering from our holiday hangover, we get news of the next public holiday! Life is good 🏖️.

According to the International Astronomical Centre (IAC) in Abu Dhabi, the potential date for Eid al Adha this year could be on Sunday, August 11! Which means that both the private and public sector in UAE could get 3 days off from 11th to 13th August (depending on the moon sighting).

On its official Twitter account, FAHR confirmed that Eid Al Adha will be celebrated on 9, 10, 11, and 12 of Dhu Al Hijjah.

Here’s a provisional list of the upcoming holidays in UAE.

August 9-12: Arafat Day and Eid Al-Adha
September 1: Hijri (Islamic New Year)
December 1: UAE Commemoration Day
December 2-3: UAE National Day
