Renee Zellweger Embodies Judy Garland in New ‘Judy’ Trailer

Close your eyes and tap your heels three times and think to yourself “Renee Zellweger as Judy Garland”.
And there you have it.
The teaser of Judy Garland’s biopic “Judy” just released and it’s really something. The movie tells the story of the iconic actress 30 years after her legendary Wizard Of Oz role and one year before her tragic death in 1969. Garland died of an overdose at the age of 47 and the movie tells her story and struggles during her last days dealing with family feuds to depression to addiction.
Towards the end of trailer, she says “Everybody has their troubles. And I’ve had mine. I just want what everybody wants, I just seem to have a harder time getting it.” She then asks the crowd, “You won’t forget me will you? Promise you won’t.”
Judy hits theaters on September 27, 2019.
Somewhere over the rainbow there may be another Oscar awaiting Renée Zellweger.
