THIS IS HOW DUBAI’S HANGING GARDEN BRIDGE WILL LOOK
October 9, 2019
By 2021, Dubai Creek will have a stunning sky garden bridge that’s sure to become popular destination. The 380-metre long by 60-metre high footbridge will feature everything from gardens to cycling and running areas, and shops! The sky bridge will connect Al Seef area in Bur Dubai to the Deira side of the creek.
Images and a model of The Hanging Garden Bridge went on display at Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority’s stand at the World Road Congress. The sky bridge has been designed by Hong Kong architecture company LWK + Partners.
It has been revealed that the bridge will be the same scale as Dubai Frame and has been inspired by the hanging gardens of Babylon. The plans look absolutely gorgeous! Have a look here.
The project was approved by HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai during a visit to the Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) in April 2019.
