KATY PERRY IS GETTING SUED AGAIN!
November 5, 2019
Uh-oh! Roar singer Katy Perry is getting sued yet again!
Unfortunately, like Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande, Katy is getting sued for posting a picture of herself *face palm*. According to E! Online, the singer posted a picture of herself dressed in a Hillary Clinton costume, from all the way back in 2016! The agency that owns the picture, is now suing the singer for a whopping $150,000.
The picture in question features her dressed as Hillary Clinton, a friend dressed as Bill Clinton and Orlando Bloom, has since been removed from her IG feed. The agency, Backgrid, filed the lawsuit earlier this week and claimed that they’ve been in touch with Katy’s team since 2017.
Earlier this year Katy Perry lost a lawsuit that claimed Perry’s 2013 single “Dark Horse” infringes a song by Christian rapper Marcus Gray aka Flame titled “Joyful Noise.”
But wait… it doesn’t end there.
Recently Katy Perry also got sued by Australian fashion designer Katie Perry for trademark infringement. The designer owned the trademark registration for Katie Perry-branded clothes in Australia for the last 11 years and went in battle with the singer when she also launched her fashion line in the country. Phew!
Looks like Katy Perry has a lot of battles ahead of her!
