UAE’S NATION BRAND LOGO REVEALED
January 9, 2020
The UAE’s new logo has been revealed! It was unveiled by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, at Qasr Al Watan. The chosen one is the calligraphy-inspired logo, titled “Seven Lines” that represents the colors of the UAE flag and the shape of the country.
At the unveiling, HH Sheikh Mohammed said, “The UAE Nation Brand tells the story of our union, our unity, our future and of a country that is firmly making its mark across the world. Our goal for the new brand is to enhance the Emirates’ global reputation, in which we invested thousands of teams throughout 48 years of constant work.”
Well-known calligraphy artist Khalid Ahmed Ali Al Jallaf was one of the creatives from the ‘Inspiring 49’ artists who came together to design the 3 logos that were presented to the public for voting. For every vote, the UAE government pledged to plant a tree. Together, we were 10 million votes strong.
On the logo, Al Jallaf said, “The UAE map represents the UAE – our beloved land for which we are all ready to die. It also reflects our soul which we are ready to sacrifice for our country and prudent leadership.”
